Who We Are and What This Covers
Turboenergylight operates as a personal financial planning consultancy based in Thailand. We work with individuals who want practical guidance on managing their finances, retirement planning, and building long-term financial security.
This policy covers information collected through our website (turboenergylight.com), consultations, email communications, and any services we provide. It applies whether you're browsing our site, requesting information, or working with us as a client.
We're subject to Thailand's Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) B.E. 2562 (2019). If you're located outside Thailand, you still get the same protections outlined here.

We use standard cookies for basic site functionality and analytics. You can disable cookies through your browser settings, though some features may not work properly.
How We Use Your Information
We use your information for specific purposes related to providing financial planning services:
| Purpose | What This Means |
|---|---|
| Service Delivery | Creating your financial plan, analyzing your situation, providing recommendations, and ongoing support |
| Communication | Responding to inquiries, scheduling consultations, sending plan updates, and sharing relevant financial information |
| Legal Compliance | Meeting regulatory requirements for financial services in Thailand, maintaining required records |
| Service Improvement | Understanding how people use our site, what questions come up frequently, and where we can be more helpful |
We don't use your financial information for marketing purposes. We don't sell or rent your data to anyone.
When We Share Information
We keep your information private except in these specific situations:
Service Providers
We work with a few external providers who help run our business. This includes our email hosting service, document storage system, and website hosting. These providers can only access information needed for their specific function and are contractually required to protect it.
Legal Requirements
We'll disclose information if required by Thai law, court order, or government investigation. We'll notify you about such requests unless legally prohibited from doing so.
With Your Permission
If you ask us to share information with your accountant, lawyer, or other professionals, we'll do that. We'll always confirm the details with you first.
We don't share client information with financial product providers, insurance companies, or investment platforms unless you explicitly request it as part of implementing your financial plan.
Your Rights and How to Exercise Them
Under Thailand's PDPA, you have several rights regarding your personal data. Here's what they mean practically:
Access Your Information
Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you. We'll provide this in a readable format within 30 days.
Correct Inaccuracies
If something in your file is wrong or outdated, let us know and we'll update it promptly.
Delete Your Data
Request deletion of your information, subject to legal record-keeping requirements for financial services.
Restrict Processing
Ask us to limit how we use your data in certain circumstances, like if you're disputing its accuracy.
Data Portability
Request your information in a structured format that you can transfer to another service provider.
Object to Processing
Object to certain uses of your data, particularly for marketing communications.
To exercise any of these rights, email us at support@turboenergylight.com with your request. We'll verify your identity and respond within 30 days. There's no fee unless your request is clearly excessive or repetitive.
How We Protect Your Information
Financial data needs serious protection. Here's what we do:
- All data transmission uses TLS encryption (the same technology banks use)
- Client files are stored in encrypted cloud storage with restricted access
- We use two-factor authentication for accessing client information systems
- Physical documents are kept in locked filing cabinets at our office
- Staff access is limited to information needed for their specific role
- Regular security audits and software updates to address vulnerabilities
That said, no system is completely immune to security breaches. If we discover any unauthorized access to client data, we'll notify affected individuals within 72 hours and take immediate steps to address the situation.
How Long We Keep Information
We keep different types of information for different periods:
- Active Client Records: For the duration of our working relationship plus seven years after, as required by Thai financial services regulations
- Inquiry Information: If you contact us but don't become a client, we keep basic contact information for two years in case you return
- Financial Plans and Analysis: Retained for seven years after the last consultation to meet regulatory requirements
- Website Analytics: Aggregated and anonymized after 26 months
- Email Communications: Maintained for the duration of the client relationship plus seven years
When retention periods expire, we securely delete digital records and shred physical documents. You can request earlier deletion, though we may need to retain certain records for legal compliance.
International Data Transfers
Our primary operations are in Thailand, where your data is stored and processed. Some of our service providers (like email hosting) may process data on servers located outside Thailand, including in Singapore and the United States.
When we use international service providers, we ensure they offer adequate data protection through:
- Standard contractual clauses approved for international data transfers
- Verification that the provider has appropriate security measures
- Regular review of their privacy and security practices
Your data receives the same level of protection regardless of where it's physically stored.
Children's Privacy
Our services are designed for adults managing their finances. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you're a parent reviewing financial planning options for a minor child's future, the information we collect relates to you as the parent or guardian, not the child.
Changes to This Policy
We review this privacy policy annually and update it when our practices change or regulations require it. When we make significant changes, we'll notify active clients by email and post the updated policy on our website with a new effective date.
Continuing to use our services after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy. If you disagree with changes, contact us to discuss your concerns or discontinue using our services.
